They haven’t talked much about his ex-wife - just that it was messy, and Leonard had regrets when it came to his daughter. She has no real comparison, no gauge to mark herself against, and picturing the woman that raised the man in front of her… it’s probably more intimidating to her than being thrown into a ring with a trained warrior.
